Number one site

I looked up ranks of all sites and Yahoo! clocked in at one, and Google at five

Anyone disagree with this? I beleive it since Yahoo! offeres movie info., news, and all that good stuff.

Also, anyone know where I can view the stats of Google and Yahoo! and other large websites?

No i think yahoo deserves #1 and probably will until they close or do something really stupid. Back when the net was young yahoo was the big thing and still is to alot of people. Stats probably alexa is the only place i would go but I assume you were there to find the ranking.

If it was #1 search engine google in my opinion would win. But since Yahoo does it all I think it deserves to be # 1.

If google has a search at a rating of X, and Yahoo uses the google search, then Yahoo should get a rating of X+n, because yahoo has the google stuff and more.

i guess both cannot be compared

its like comparing a car and a bike and trying to find out which is better ...dosent make sense atall

Yes. google is the best search engine while yahoo is a very useful portal.

Yahoo just purchased inktomi so chances are that won't be for long, besides that:

Google includes non-commercial directory listings which yahoo doesn't
Google has define: termtermterm which yahoo doesn't
google has free api interfacing which yahoo doesn't

google's commercial spam listings are less "in your face"

There's lots of reasons I prefer google over yahoo.
