changing the domain name of my website?

I am changing the domain name of my website....how does this effect my webmaster tools and my analytics?

Webmaster tools - do I have to start over...I am thinking I will most likely have to.

Analytics - Do I have to copy and paste in 'new' code on all my pages and start from scratch again?

First, read up on Google's guidelines for moving your site ...

and do a change of address in webmaster tools ...

Telling Google about your domain change - Webmaster Tools Help

Webmaster tools will pick up the stats under the new domain once it's verified. Analytics - you can edit an entry to change the domain.

It depends on how you've got it setup.

The webmaster tools may be confusing to change, but it's not too hard.
The analytics should be easy to change, however I don't use Google Analytics that much.

You need also to set permanent redirect (301) for your old pages to the new domain name.
