1 problem I have with number 3 is that if you submit all articles to the article directory and your own site then you have created duplicate content. You may find the article directory ranking above yours if your is discounted as the duplicate.

As the bottom indicates the author has a vested interest in people submitting articles as they own an article submission site.

I am not suggesting that article submission is a bad idea, done correctly it can create a lot of interest. Just ensure you do it correctly.

I agree on your point. The main idea is to make visitors aware of your site and its content. So whenever you post an article be sure it is for the article marketing stuff not for your own site. Have different articles for marketing ad for your fresh content on your site.
