![]() | Hot Offer: Looking To 50-50 Share Dual Xeon or Opteron Server Hello, I am finding that I am not using all the resources on my P4 2.8GHZ HT server but it makes no financial sense to spend 75% of my current bill on a shared account. Thus, I'm looking for someone with basic server knowledge (the more the better, but I am not looking for someone TOTALLY clueless) to partner on a dedicated server, most likely an AMD Opteron or Dual Xeon. There are great holiday specials around, so I'm looking to do this in the immediate future. The preferred idea would be to host at a server that is supported (and possibly semi-managed) by a reputable/reliable company. This way, no one would feel as if they are "doing all the work," and support could be relied on for issues instead of each other. The ideal solution, in my opinion, is for me to have control of the root - and maybe pay an extra $5-10 of the share - and then allot you a reseller account with exacty 50% of the resources. I suppose we could also set-up a dual-payment and dual-ownership deal, where we'd pay EXACTLY down the middle and share the root account. My concern here is trust - as this basically entails two people who don't know each other coming together on a pretty expensive purchase. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-hosting-offers/61240-hot-offer-looking-50-50-share.html There is a fantastic plan at ThePlanet for $224 a month (with cPanel), meaning you'd spend $112 and get half of a server that's literally DOUBLE a normal server at that price. ResellerWorkz and LayeredTech are also offering some good packages for high-end servers. Please send an email to bdawgxl@gmail.com, or PM me, with your experience, ideas for a server you'd want to share, and what you plan to use the server for. I'm looking to act IMMEDIATELY, so please respond ASAP. Thank you. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yah, I use The Planet for a few of my servers, but moved a couple away this month due to that nasty downtime, and so purchased a couple at VersaWeb.net (Colocates) and very impressed so far. eNzone, try out the P4 2.4ghz with 1Gig of Ram, its a good machine and SM has it for $120/Month last I checked (Special). Or with the new DC coming perhaps for less.
