| Personally, I think Inivision Board is the most user-friendly, the easiest to modify the skins for, and has the best default skin. It also has Invisionize.com to get shop mods and such, as well as their forums where you can get quick answers on fixing up your forums from other users. vB is also good, but I find it not to have that sleek design that IPB has. |

| Id prefer PHPBB cuse its a easyier to use script but if u think bout it IPB AND VB do have more features and also are easyier to create templates but im ognna say phpbb will ctach back up

| yeah i like ipb but now that it's not free... vb was my paid favorite and i guess it still is cus i don't like ipb.. now that you have to pay for it... Phpbb... don't like it... maybe with the new version it'll be better. . .

 | You are all understandibly saying vb, but lets not forget the crucial factor, phpBB is FREE. VB will set you back $160! There are also plenty off add ons for phpBB. For these reasons i would choose phpBB as it is not that far behind vb in my opinion and it is $160 less! No brainer really, although i must admit i have used vb for a couple of forums.

ok im afraid what you said is completely void of reasonable argument. The forum that is provided by vb is top quality, however is not free therefore puts it out of the market for some people. phpBB is FREE and is therefore aimed at the market who cannot or will not spend that amount of money on there forum. In my experience phpBB is more than adequate, it does not have the mass of features the vb has however for its price i wouldn't expect it to. To say that (what i imagine) a forum provider to millions of sites sucks is ignorant of this important fact. You may not think it is as good as vb, that is your opinion and i respect it and it may even be the case that it is not as good, but it is aimed at a different market therefore i do not think you can simply compare them on the basis of which one is better.
