FTP probem

I'm getting this error when I try to FTP to one site using filezilla. I'm using passive mode.

Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode
Command: MLSD
Error: Connection timed out

Anyone know why does this happen ?

I remember there was a sticky topic about something like this and how to get it worked. Can't find it anymore.

Have you tried contacting your hosting provider about this? This is something that they will likely need to fix for you.

For sure, you need to contact your ISP because it is not something that happens often. With my 5-year experience in tech support, I've never seen it.

This is most likely an issue on the hosts end, not the ISPs end.

Your FTP port # is probably wrong. What host are you using? Ask their live help.
