Godaddy.com Hosting Question

Alright, I just recenttly launched a blog with internet marketting experience on average I get about 300 unique visits a day. Yes I am bragging, the day the blog launched I had 400 Uniques

Anyways, I'm actually starting to worry about my websites popularity and if Godaddy can handle it it. I was thinking about the Ultimate package for 14 a month if my bandwidth is consumed, but if my page makes it to the front page of reddit do you think the server would crash?

If it crashes what would I do?

I just need advice... Thanks

Well you can start from a smaller account and then upgrade yours to larger if a need arise. Godaddy would move your site to bigger server and ask you to upgrade your account.

If your not tied in with a contract idd go straight to hostgator and forget about godaddy hosting Web Hosting - Shared cPanel Web Hosting baby plan is $10 on a month to month basis unlimited bandwidth and space, and there customer support it amazing, if you have a problem with anything just open a ticket and its normally sorted within 20 mins.

Just my 2 cents into it.

If you worry about SEO you must be worrying about their uptime. So that is easy. Why don't look through various uptime monitoring tools and check what their uptime is? I think that is something what will make you more patient and relaxed.

I really would suggest you do your homework on unlimmited as there is no such thing. If your really worried get a managed vps to be on the safeside. It can cost alittle bit more but its well worth it.

I disagree. They host there primary servers off of a different data center last I checked. I strongly suggest not using the same place you register your domains for safety. It is better to have 2 different passwords as you dont primary go onto your domain account and that way if your computer gets spyware or what not your password is less likely to be found.

I would not worry about it. Buy more band width if you are concerned. I actually prefer having domains and hosting in one place. If there is a problem they can be right on top of it. If you separate the domains and hosting then are are dealing with 2 different companies that might not get along.
The industry is very competitive. I'm not saying its more secure. Its what I prefer. Good companies do not need to trash the competition. They stand on their own merits.
