Hosting with the best site builder?

Hi everyone, I am fairly new and have used godaddy mainly because they have an easy to use site builder. But I am unhappy with the limits of their site builder as far as it is a little hokey Does anyone out there know of a good host with a good site builder where you can build a good looking site that is interactive?

It seems many hosts offer free site builders with their hosting. You can research for your best host first and ask whether they have a user friendly site builder. It seems that is the better way to go.

Why don't you use a CMS, such as Wordpress? There a lots of templates for it (free and paid) to be found, and that way you don't depend on your host for your website building needs.

You shouldn't really rely on the web host for some tool that helps you build websites. Better go with a designer, or if you have knowledge of HTML, use Microsoft Expressions Web and design the pages by yourself. Experience, and satisfaction both are achieved by it.

And yeah, wordpress can be the best platform for you. Its a blog platform but still so flexible and customizable that you can create static website from it if you learn using it well. And there are thousands of templates, plugins etc. available to change the appearance of the website/blog that you create.

That is not duty of the web hosting company to provide you site builder.
If you are going to work with templates I think the tool like dreamviewer would be the best option. Or work with any web application + use skins and custom logos
Good luck

Take your web hosting in one place and site builder in another. I suppose that is something what will make your choice more flexible

Sitebuilders on the whole are crappy. Just look at Joomla or Wordpress and use a theme you like available on the web.

Depending on your experience in building a site you might also look for alternatives from free applications.

Indeed. Some kind of web sites can be built without any site builder.

Alternatively, you could use an application like frontpage or dreamweaver
