Netfirms.com and Zend

Hi!

I have been moved my domain with developed site to Netfirms.com. My project using Zend.
I was completely suprised after I saw following message: "Zend Optimizer not installed/ The component "Zend Optimizer" is not installed on the Web Server and therefore cannot service encoded files. Please download and install the Zend Optimizer (available without charge) on the Web Server."

I tryed to contact Netfirms support, but there is no reply from them for more than 3 days....

Is it possible to activate Zend at Netfirms.com manually from my side?

Thanks.

The short answer is no, you'll need root access to the server to install Zend Optimizer.

If it's been more than three days waiting for a reply, I might suggest finding a new host.

So if they promise that I suppose they should find the way and provide that for their customers. In other case that would be lie on their web site

I assume you have chosen non correct web hosting service plan . Maybe you have chosen the one where that is not installed. In any case that could be the subject of the ticket you will send to the web hosting provider

Ask them for refund. You need to get what you have paid for if you do not get that I believe that you should not wait and ask for the refund
