I assume you can do the search for the search for their domain name (+ do the one for the bluehost)
and you will find a lot of reviews on them

Indeed, bluehost and hostmonster are sharing the same platform, have the same owner, target the same market etc.

My personal measurements show them to be rather slow (at least compared to some of their direct competitors).

Dan is right and at the same time they are one of the biggest web hosting providers and I have to admit I have seen a lot of their good reviews.

I have heard as good as bad reviews on the company you are talking about. So I suppose that is the prof they are quite big.
