What web hosts might be good for Magento? As this scripts is rather heavy, I think web servers should be specially optimized for it, say on 1&1 and godaddy magento takes like 15 seconds to load. Need a host with a faster loading speed.
Anyone using Simplehelix.com with Magento running on the site? I heard they are one of the fastest in this niche. Would be good to hear your feedback.

| 1&1 and GoDaddy are both awful for PHP/MySQL scripts, hence would explain that. However *most* hosts should be able to run this okay.

| i figured it's best to suggest these coming from the developer since it's the first place they know their software and if software developer has in-house hosting better grab it, they assure uptime and reliability of it but I guarantee it's gonna be expensive. | |

The serious minus is the load speed, why not check Miva or Zen, Oscommerce, I guess you'll be able to get more webhosting providers offering these, citexhosting.com, mmhosting.com, bluehost.com are all ecommerce providers. | |
