i'm planning to buy some adult hosting for a future project of mine, and i need some advice on which company i should choose, or any company/companies that you'd suggest
i've heard of servage.net, which looks good, but many have some bad reviews about the company, have you got any ideas about the company? what do you think?
i need:
1. Zend Optimizer 3.0.6 or higher...
2. wordpress preinstalled..
3. unlimited domains (host unlimited websites)
4. unlimited mysql
5.ftp
....
Fair enough, then most hosts should be able to host this for you
In all honesty, I've heard terrible things about Servage (I'll provide links in a second). Also, they do massively oversell (i.e "5010 GB of bandwidth for £4.50p/m" - something which is impossible to offer), which always puts me off a host.
I'd personally recommend that you think of how much disk space and bandwidth you'll need (unless you're sites will be pretty big, I wouldn't imagine you'd need more than 2 GB disk space and 20 GB bandwidth) and find hosts which offer those sorts of amounts (i.e. and not go for oversellers). However that's just me
Anywhoo, back to their reviews. Recently their servers were hacked, resulting in a lot of data loss. In addition, they claim to keep "full daily backups", but they won't actually restore backups from their customers:
