· #5 | | NamePros Member | In every way....for example, service, uptime, speed, etc. As the price difference between them is only 1$ pm, that is, host monster is 1$ pm cheaper.
So is host gator really better than host monster? |

| I'm sure that there are lots of fans one and other company as well. I haven't try both. But Hostgator.com used to be more known. I think that you can check both yourself. Hostracker + reading reviews. And I think that they are more then huge companies and have thousands of customers and you might be lost there. If I were you I'd consider more companies which are not so huge but love each customer like neowebspace.com or hqhost.net or smallorange.com.

· #10 | | NamePros Member | I never try Hostmonster. I personally use Hostgator as web hosting service. I am satisfied with this service. For domain collection service, I am using GoDaddy. |

| HostGators great, the only down side i ever had with them was with their tos. Someone thought my site broke the rules by posting a brand new proxy link in a blog everyday. (it's not breaking tos). But besides that supports been amazing and had no problems. |

Have never dealt with HostMonster so my opinion is one sided... |

| I've only tried hostmonster till now. Hostmonster is great. But hostgator is more popular I guess. Must be of because of their support service but hostmonster's support is not bad either. I think the only thing that separates them is their price. |

| I have a quick question, lets see if anyone can answer it. I have hostgator. The first month with all the fees and that I had to pay $13 something for a hatchling account. But then I figured THIS month I would have to pay the $4.95, ya know the price FOR the hatchling account. And well, they sent me an invoice for $8.95 so Im just wondering whats up. I purposely left the money in my account someone gave me cuz it was $5 for this and now its NOT $4.95 lol. Whats up?
NM i figured it out. Apparently I didnt read the fine fine fine print on the site lol |
