image hosting site + vbulletin forum

Hello,

Are you able to tell me what I need for a image hosting site and vbulletin.

I'm not very technical, but it sounds like I would need a dedicated server or something similar. Both these sites are in their infancy stage, so they don't have very many visitors.

Anyone got a suggestion to who is good and reliable and how much I will have to fork out?

Also do you tend to get better support with dedicated hosting? I'm with dreamhost and although they're ok for simple sites that don't need much technical support, they take too long to help out on database issues.

I need a company that will be quite helpful and quick with their responses.

I think that you need to have shared account to start

And you do not need dedicated server.
BTW which budget do you have for that?

Hello,

For starts you will need a shared account -- check with the hosting company that they allow image hosting websites.

My recommendation is to find a host and check if they sell VPS or dedicated servers as well. You want them to be able to offer you an upgrade as your site grows.

As you are in the starting phase, I too think a shared host will be enough at the moment. But check with them whether they allow image hosting or not.
May be, go with a host which has a good upgradeable path, so that you can go ahead and upgrade as you grow.
