CNAME setting question URGENT

Hi all

I have to set a CNAME record for a given domain, so that the site itself is pointed to another server (B), but all the rest (mail etc.) remains at the original server (A).

Cuerently I acheived that the www.domain.com displays correctly the page at server B, but without "www" it still displays the page at server A.

How do I set up the CNAME correctly, so that both (with and without WWW) display the page at server B, but email etc... remains at server A ?

I hope I could explain myself

In the dns zone you will find an entry for www
It will be like
www IN A ipaddress
You need to edit it to look like

www IN CNAME domain.com

If you are not sure about the settings, I would suggest you to open a ticket at your host. They will get this done in no time.

Thanks Matt,
I exactly did this, but then only the URL www.domain.com works, and not the URL domain.com which is exactly my problem ;(

What value you have for the A record of teh domain?
that is you will see an entry like this.
domain.com IN A <IP address>
Is the IP pointing to server B?
