· #1 | | New Member | Hosting up to 5 Websites... I want to ask if I want to host about 5 different websites all with different purposes what hosting package I need to look for...
It's also kind of confusing... so I guess I need a IP and point it to diff directories...
like 4.4.4.4/food
4.4.4.4/myblog
is that the idea? or how would it work>?
i understand how parked domains work but i want to make it so all the websites won't look they are connected...
btw any suggestions on MONTHLY payable hosting plans with cpanel and such? thx every go namespros! |

You have two options for this.
First option is Addon domains. If you are going to manage all domains and if you don't want to give some one access to a particular domain, this is enough. All the 4 domains will be under the main domain and there will be only one cpanel for the main domain. But you will be able to manage teh addon domains from the main domain's control panel.
Second option is getting separate domains.
By the way, what are your requirements? How much disk space and bandwidth do yuo need and what is your budget? |

· #3 | | New Member | For addon domains...
Will it affect it.
Because I want like www.a.com and www.b.com www.c.com
I don't really understand the "under" one big domain part...
It's four diff websites, four diff domain, am i still able to just pay for webhost for something like this? Is that add-on domain? |

· #4 | | New Member | What do you mean by all under one main domain?
It can be but it's going to be five diff sites and five diff domain
Can It still be www.a.com www.b.com www.c.com all directing to 3 diff locations of my webhost for using the addon domains optioN? |

· #5 | | NamePros Regular | Yeah, It will be separate domains and they will be going to separate directories.
The documentroot for each domain will be under the main account.
That means, yuor main account is a.com with the documentroot /home/a/public_html
Now your b.com will be hosted at /home/a/public_html/b/
So technically the addon domains are 'under' your main domain, but it will just behave like separate domains for an outsider. |
