Godaddy hosting costs! This is interesting!

Hello NP.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-hosting-discussion/246890-godaddy-hosting-costs-this-is-interesting.html

I was just locking at godaddy hosting and going through the order process of buying hosting there.

The interesting thing was that when you have a first choice how long you want to host it gives you the choices between 2 months for 3.99 , 12 months for 3.59 and 24 months.
Then click on 2 months. Follow to the checkout screen. At the checkout screen you then have an option of getting 12 months for and at the price will only be 3.19.
That is a .40$ saving per month just by doing that!

I found that very interesting!

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that they should not fall into the trap of having to pay 3.59 for 12 months

Regards,
Fabian

I believe when you go to paypal it will charge you for the whole 12 months, that is just showing you what you will be paying monthly. It may even have a little start by it saying *montly payment: $3.19.

One reason there is such a huge GoDaddy thread in the Domain Name Discussion forum is that there are so many ways to get different pricing for your orders. Sometimes it is advisable to play around with different combinations of products and coupon codes to get the best pricing. You've found that GoDaddy likes to upsell by offering extra discounts sometimes - so you might try picking a smaller product and see if GoDaddy offers you a better price.

Another thing to keep an eye on is the extra offers you get after nyou have paid for your order. There is usually a screen with a bunch of products at discounted prices. Next time you reg a domain or buy a hosting product, cheak what the offers are on that page - sometimes you can save even more by buying a single domain, then getting your hosting package from the post-sale offers.

You just gotta keep trying all the angles with GoDaddy - there always seems to be yet another way to save a few cents.

Is this the only GoDaddy's plus?

Thanks in advance.

what is external domains, what is multiple website?
