What we do is sign up with web hosts to test their service and then report the finding on our forum. We also take good and bad reports on web hosting companies or any company and validate the claims.

We are the middle man between the company and the client. We try to resolve the issues and come to some kind of agreement. This is all free and we pay for everything out of our own pocket.

We have an area where you can add your web hosting company as well as your web site and we put up a screenshot of your current design. If you have issues with a company and have no where to turn come see us and we may be able to help you get your refund or whatever you deserve back. Again this is all free and we are just trying to get the word out.

Sounds like a good idea but I wonder how many companies would be willing to participate in this.

I use godaddy.com for my site. So far its been great. Maybe since I am new to this, I look for reliability and name brand. Just my 2 cents.. hope it helped.
