| i would recommend... i would recommend you go with a company that offers your money back, so you can try it out for a month and then see if they truly do have good uptime or if its just another crappy "flybynight" operation. Try www.volonetworks.com |

| Uptime is basically the number of days a server has been running since the last shutdown which is expressed in percentage. |

| The best way to check uptime is to ask the host for stats and proof from 3rd party uptime monitoring services.
For example, each of our servers that we have are tracked by WebsitePulse, and thus have real-time and past data of performance and uptime. |
