| HostingZoom & ResellerZoom Changes! HostingZoom will be removing all reseller plans from thier site and passing them over to ResellerZoom. It wont effect any customers. Customer hosting at HostingZoom resellers will be labelled under advanced reseller in the new ResellerZoom layout and all current resellers will be labelled as budget resellers.
This is to help them market to the right groups and to help stop confusion between the twho (as both offer reseller plans). All basic and current resellerzoom customers will no longer get live support unless they are on the advanced packages at reseller zoom.
This quote is from teh HostingZoom forums: "We will be consolidating all reseller plans on our Reseller Zoom brand. Hosting Zoom will no longer carry reseller plans and scheduled to be complete in the coming weeks. All current Hosting Zoom reseller clients will need to utilize the support options at resellerzoom.com once this is complete. All features, support options including live chat, helpdesk, telephone will remain the same. There are absolutely no changes besides the removal of reseller plans on Hosting Zoom.
Please post any questions, concerns, comments in this thread. We will send out another email once the transition is complete with a full FAQ for all Hosting Zoom reseller clients"
More can be foudn on thier site this thread: http://forum.hostingzoom.com/showthread.php?t=755
------
Personally i think this will help HostingZoom and ResellerZoom and stop the confusion and able both departments of the company to target users more pacifically and stop the confusion to some potential customers
Look forward to the changes being made. |

| I always thought that that would be a pretty logical way of splitting their services. It does make a lot of sense. |

| No offense intended, but that business plan never really made sense to me in the first place. Branding your services with different names is one thing but the names were so close that it did nothing but cause confusion. |

| I agree that it was quite confusing before but from now on I think it'll be much clearer to everybody. |

| Sounds like a great idea. They are targetting a specific and defining a position amongst the two.

| I think mainly it was the "extras" that separated them, i.e. ClientExec included, Anonymous Support for free, etc.
It's good to consolidate though, it will make it more easier to market as they realized |
