Hi there Guys,

I just registered MamboYard.com and am looking for some ideas for a Logo Design. I am going to use it as a community portal for the Mambo Community. For those of you who do not know what mambo is then take a look:

since ur website is mamboo discussion site u can try something wid this Style

Definately make ur website look like mamboo's and give your logo/website a look that says the message...that this website is related to MAMBOO

I have received 5 entries so far, and I can say that so far I prefer Def1's design... This contest is open another 6 Hours and then I will anounce the winner.

Are you all sure you can actually use Mambo's logo freely? I would have thought that they would have it trademarked and, unless Clayton has permission, using it would be illegal?

I'll work on a logo, but it won't have the Mambo logo on. I'm not going to start getting Clayton into trouble by giving a possible legal timebomb!

Im not sure. I have emailed the guys at Mambo for permission but have not got a reply as yet.

Then you will see that they have used the Mambo Logo as well. WEll Slightly diff though

Well, just be careful that you don't get into problems. I am sure that Mambo wouldn't have any problem, after all, its not like you're making a hate-site towards them

but always ask for permission!

Oh, and here is my logo:

All vector and made in Ilustrator. If chosen, logo will be supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats. Hope you like it!
