DIYdot logo for NP$, Cash, or Domain Name!

Hi everyone,
I have been used to getting logos done in other places, but after seeing a number of designs from those here are NP I believe this community has loads of talent. SO, I'd like to see if someone can come up with a new cool logo for a template shop; DIYdot - Do It Yourself Templates.

Currently using a template storeage ready made shop, but will eventually move to a custom site with feeds etc... Current design at

BUT I am also considering this color scheme:

Would love to see what can be made, maybe a Home Depot or diyNetwork look? Offering ALL my NP$ or $15.00 paypal or Choice of a Domain Name from a list in my portfolio for the best design. I will share the Domainname list with the winner (quality of the name list based on the quality of the winning design).

Can't wait to see the concepts!

All done in vector and, if chosen, will be supplied in .jpg, .gif, .fla and .eps formats. Hope you like it! Watermarked for security, they'll be removed if you choose it!

Thanks for getting this started will7! I have seen some of your efforts in other posts and you are quite talented. My thread seems to be alot slower than others

so not sure when I'll end. If nobody else is interested, I will work something out with you.

As for this image; Good start, but I think there's too much going on and too many colors. Maybe a more bold statement? Building type reference; Home Depot? Hoping to get a few option and concepts going to get a feel for what "Do It Yourself" conjers up...

There's a second entry. I don't know if it is too small, but it's meant to be hammering a nail into the "D" of "DIYDot". Went for more of a DIY feel with it.

Same as usual, if picked, can be supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .fla formats. Reduced quality and watermarked for security reasons.

That's a logo that Elemental entered for another competition, looks a lot like the one he entered here, don't you think? Same text style, same layout, same "symbol in a circle" type logo - just with a different symbol.

I couldn't agree more. This is whay I decieded to give it a try here rather than one of the freelance boards - keep it in the community here and continue to build upon the resource network of the NP talent.

It's a nail.. if it's to hard to see without knowing and if you wish I can allways get a new one or try with a paintbrush or a hammer
