I am in the middle of setting up q new site and it needs a logo. Please go to the site to get a feel for it. Have a few beers and I will leave the creativity to you. What ever the logo is, it also has to be able to work well with a banner. www.brewguy.com

If the header gif isnt working for you, you can recreate one to work as long as it fits in the theme.
I dont have a deadline to speak of. I am in the process of building it and drinking beer, sometimes more beer!
If someone makes a killer one...then I am going for that one. I am hoping to have one within the next 7 days.

beer bottle or glass?
just an opinion: your website doesnt look like beer related. first time I saw it I though it was a coding site with a funny name...it doent have any beer feel.
I think a glass/mug is better that way it is generic. The site was just uploaded the other day and I will be adding content as I go. The coding you see is from the CPG software used as the base. if you have ideas to share also on the look and feel I am all ears.......
i took a gamble with the idea of a banner looking like a beer ad they have at soccer games,with the repitition and all...you will either love it or hate..feed back would be great!
As from that question from e,yes a draw the majority of my graphics, if not..I have help as I'm part of a team we have a considerably large stock of past draft logos/graphic ideas we have played with before, for educational purposes/fun.
Yours is no better in terms of copyright than mine. And as for originality, yours is lacking. Think yours is 'tres' original? I'm tired of hearing you whine.
I think you need to read up on copywriting my friend,PeeHerman is a well known celebrity.My brew guy, was idea from a digital photo of a german man in uniform, which a then developed into this simple black and white cartoon figure,the text i used cannot be copywritten.Im not trying to get at you, just warning you that you might get yourself into a bit of trouble.
lol yes your right that image is copyrighted, But the only trouble i can get into is if one of my colleagues sue me lol, If you havnt realized I am part of a design group, and have designed a lot of logos yes that is our design,and it was used for a similar competition like this.There were hundreds of enteries,type in oktoberfest in google, it was a bit of fun.

Was that logo used in any other websltes? I would like to keep the same tone going....greys/blacks. Simular as the Pedro one...I do like that one. To bad it does look like PeeWee.

it isnt used for any profitable site it was just a logo that ended up no where..i can start from scratch a again and stick wit ur black /grey colours..ill start another soon.
just one question, you said you needed a logo that has to match "a" header, did you mean to type "has to match your site banner, if so than all the entries above do not match the header at all. oh and also nice banner quicksilver, simple but very professional, i like it alot
oh and to continue the little debate on copyright issues, how do you guys say yours is not original when you dont know if the designer fairly bought the rights to a picture in a loyalty free stock image cd collection. Because I have pics that look like peewee herman, and I'm allowed to post it because I bought it.
hey IOzo, now that one probably win this contest, the third gray one will match the site header nicely, maybe could use and a little 3d effects to blend in with the other 3d effects on the header.
