I need two logos done

I have two side projects that I'm working on and I need a similar logo for both..

RantNet.com and RantWear.com

RantNet is going to be a mixture of blog/forum. As you can tell by the names, both will have a similar theme.
RantWear.com will be a clothing store, most likely using CafePress.

I need something extremely professional.

I'm looking for a character that can be the mascot for both sites.

The payment will be between 500-1000NP$ depending on how much I love your work.
The winner will most likely get future projects like this. I would do it myself but I'm just too damn busy.
Post your samples. Watermarked ok..
I need PSD files from the winner.
NO canned/bulk/templatemonster etc..Original only.

You require the mascot to be completely original?

That would be swell. I just don't want images that are rehashed and reused in a million other logos, or edited templatemonster logos etc. Original is the goal.
