Leads brokerage is common place


Leads brokerage is common place in other industries. Mortgage leads sell as high as $300.00 a lead. Education Leads are as high as $250.00 and legal leads are on an average $90.00 a lead. So why would a company pay this much for a lead? Because it is a direct way to make a sale and it cuts out the need for an in house telemarketing team.

We run a very successful Web Design business. Most of our leads are generated by this telemarketing staff and I personally have an 85% conversion rate with these leads. Will you make a sale every single lead? Probably not but I miss very few. We back up our leads with a replacement guarantee. If after we quality control check a lead it was just a poor lead we will replace it free of charge. This does not mean that we will replace a lead just because you could not sell it but we will replace it if the prospect tells our manager that they changed their mind, didn't really want to do it in the first place, etc.

I saw a need for this when one of our clients started generating over a million dollars a year in mortgage leads last year and I realized that I could not buy a good Web Design lead to save my life so we started discussing it, and now it is getting done.

Our phone sales people nearly close the sale before turning it into a lead. We discover the clients needs, their budget, their plan of action and then turn it over to the lead manager. The lead manager then calls the potential client back explains that a number of web design companies will be contacting them and that they should choose the company they like the most.

Most of these leads are currently in Florida however if you make a commitment to a certain number of leads in your local area we will be glad to put a phone sales rep on your state and metropolitan areas to generate local leads for you.

Leads are sold in three categories

$125.00 the lead belongs to you. We will call the potential client after 30 days and verify that the project has been sold if it has not we will recirculate the lead but you get 30 days to manage the sale with no competition.

$75.00 the lead will be sold a total of 3 times and the client will have the opportunity to evaluate your company as well as two others.

$25.00 the lead will be sold a total of 10 times you will be competing with up to 9 other companies.


Our web site upon completion will have a proposal builder and a tracking system for your bid to the client. You will be able to communicate the results of your bid to the web site and rate the lead and the telemarketer.

You will also be able to order your leads online and track all of your past leads and the result of those leads.


Some clients that have come to us from these leads:
Boss LTG - Three web sites over 11,000.00 in revenue so far
Street Decals - $200.00 a month residual hosting and marketing
ZDMAK - $5000.00 revenue $200.00 a month residual hosting and marketing
Banners By Stats - $2000.00 programming job - $80.00 a month residual hosting and marketing

Many more these are just recent accounts we have earned from these leads.
If you are just trying us out for the first time and you are a reasonably good sales person take the $25.00 lead and make your proposal. Right now their are more leads then buyers and even the $25.00 leads will not have much competition.

We have three leads converted to sales this last month that we are outsourcing to India because no one bought the leads so we took them ourselves and will net $6000.00 after paying the out source company. But I can only manage so much.

We know this is going to be a process of reeducation but web design companies fall into two categories those who have too much work and those who do not have enough. The ones who do not have enough work are the bigger group. I have owned MMK for 4 years now, before that I owned Internet Enhanced Interaction which I blended into a larger company here in Florida and got screwed royally for all my hard work. The point is we spend tons of money generating leads we get some Inbound leads from our web site and Yellow pages but not enough to sustain a large company so we started soliciting for our leads and have built a very successful business doing so.

We say around here that if we want to eat we have to get on the phones at least 3 hours a day if we want to live comfortably we have to get on phones at least 8 hours a day.

It costs a lot of money to generate a solid web design lead the training of employees is extensive, the hours spent calling are long, and the office space and long distance is a killer.

I don't know how you get your new clients but even with our tremendous word of mouth referrals it is not enough to keep us living up to the standard that we are accustomed.

If you want your company to grow you need leads, and now you know where to get them.
