clones of myspace.com often go as high as $1200 on freelancer sites.

Heh, "as high as $1,200". Doubt you'd find a programmer who would do it for under $2,000, and usually much higher. Though with a programmer from India, or another country where the cost of living is low I'm sure you could find someone to do it for cheap.

I would like something similar but not exact , I would need the back end coded as well. Doesnt have to be that elaborate. I mean, how close could someone get and how much ?

i could get close to this minus the graphics i would have to farm them out, without the graphics i will do it for 850.00,with your looking at about 1100.00 to 1200.00, it would not be a clone although it would offer basically the same features i dont just clone sites or scripts.
this would take a week or week and a half to script and get it right and another week to finish it off.

Hi, lis_loo here again. I wouldn't be able to do the coding for you but I could do the graphics and the layout. I would charge about £10 per hour as I am building up a portfolio.

This is a fine example of what pees me off about stuff like this too far expensive, how is this to far expensive when i have to set for 5 or 6 hours a day or more for 5 or 6 days to develop a script to meet the desired effect, most people doing this charge on the lowend 45.00 and hour to about 75.00 an hour if you want a decent website with everything your looking for, now if you want a prewritten script i know of several but none go as far as the one on this website they may have one thing or two things and not the others, these scripts can be had for 75.00 to 150.00, then installed for about 75.00 but this includes setting them up and putting them together, does not include adding all the html coding needed or the graphics, remember you get what you pay for.

No offense. *Looks at budget* not gonna happen, lol. I had no idea what to expect and I apologize. Im sure your very good but I cannot afford this kind price tag. I was thinking along the 100-150 but hearing the responses, it might be out of my league. Ill keep trying though ... still looking. If I win at bingo tinight Tiffany youll be one of the first to know
