I am in the process of starting a company that will be offering packaged web services to customers that will include the design/development of websites.

I am looking for no more than 2 developers to act as contractors for the web site design/development portion of our company.

We came to decision to find the contractors now so that we would be comfortable with the skills and dependability of those that we will be working with.

Contestants should be comfortable with both the design and development of websites. To include graphics, layout, coding (html/css ect) along with a basic understanding of php/mysql integration.

On to the contest!

The contest will consist of the design and helping with the implementation of our main site abcwebworks.com. Further details on the site and the features needed will be emailed on request.

The possibility of earnings from future work should be more than enough incentive to participate in this contest, but I do understand this is a lot to ask for just the possibility of future earnings.

Since the majority of our budget it set aside for our advertising campaign we are not able to offer much in the way of a $ prize but we will throw in a hosting package as well with ample space and b/w. The second place winner will get a hosting package as well.

The contest will end in 2 weeks, 9/17 at 11pm CST and the winner will be announced along with showcasing the winning design.

I do have this contest running on other boards as well and the winner will be chosen from all entries received.

To clear up some of the confusion with this contest that I have been receiving I am going to try to clarify.

1. The design/development of abcwebworks.com will work as your "portfolio"

2. This "portfolio" will help us in choosing 2 contract designers to funnel design work to.

3. The winner will have design contract work sent to them when we have an order for a design. In the event that the 1st winner cannot complete the work it will then be sent to the runner up.

4. The 1st place winner will receive $50 and a hosting account.

5. The 2nd place winner will receive a hosting account.
