I am looking for a Logo design for a new site called www.Scotland.tv
I'm looking for colours similar to Miami.com with the light blue & almost black.
I dont have a set design in mind but it must be clean, crisp and look professional.

Background needs to be transparent, Logo has to be able to be made larger/smaller with no reduction of quality.

Something like the Miami.com or Scotland.com logo would be nice.

Pay offered is $20, i would rather pay through paypal but PM me if you want paid in another way.

I'm looking for this over the next few days so 1st person who provides something that i like will get the money.

Ask any questions via the thread rather than everyone PM'ing me asking the same thing.

Sorry but none grab my attention.
They all more or less look like basic text to me, need some kind of design feature.
Try keeping the blue a little softer i think, they look a bit too harsh compared to the Miami or Scotland.com's i think.

Maybe do something almost the exact same as Miami.com with the similar colours, style though make the little shape below the text have the colours of the Scottish flag (Blue with white cross)
Thats just an idea though, play around with it or come up with your own.

I am not 100% sure if i will use it on a white or black background so maybe try switching the colours, maybe provide one in each colour.......etc

Pankirk your design is my favourite so far though maybe play around a bit and try different fonts or something.

It is not perfect yet but i think something like Pankirk's design will work if it is perfected a little so if anyone else wants to design then go for something close to that.

Ok well what type of font would you want? Thats the exact font they used in the miami.com one. I will play around with it.

btw you are using one of the guys logos on the site, you should probably resize it its really bad quality like that

None of the recent designs worked for me, sorry.

yeah i know, i just quickly stuck it on to see how it would look but as it is not staying there just now then there was no point resizing.

Reagrding Font i am not certain, could you try the font that is on Scotland.com & also try 'Georgia'
Can you try making the main Text colour almost Black or dark grey (i think colour "#666666" or "#333333")

Sorry all my requests are very vague but i am unsure exactly what will work.

I will pick a design today though rather than keeping you all working away with no reward.

hey I see your using my logo on your site. You should tell me if you want it redone, that way it doesn't look all crunched up. I can also do a different design if you want with different colors. Just PM me.

Why would you want an exact rip of a miami.com logo? I'm not disqualifying people as designers, but you should go for something truly original if you want your site to be unique. What would benefit your site would be a nice header. I would enter but, it looks as if you have plenty of people working hard on it anyway. Good luck to all.

I didn't want a exact rip of the miami.com logo but that was used as a guide, i'd love it to be unique but so far what i have seen doesnt suit me.

Please feel free to enter if you have a unique idea, otherwise i will make a decision very soon.

Pankirk i only stuck your logo there just to get an idea of how it would sit, dont worry about the quality/size being wrong as very few people see it just now. Could you alter your logo slightly to put the 'TV' letters inside a small rounded square (so it looks like they are in a TV set) Just an idea

I will be back on later when i get time to make a decision.

Wasn't pointing any fingers at you, I know you used them for examples of what you would like. I honestly think the first design would suite your site best. The designer even added extra flare so it could be fit right up top and extend over to the right.

I have many unique ideas, I just don't have time. Its finals here. No hate Hehe.

If you dont like any of the designs posted in the competition then why are you using pankirk's logo.

.... How it would sit? wow, looks like it ain't sat very well.

Its a "competition" you can't go around stealing work... If you like the logo just pay him the 20 bucks and its yours, very unprofessional way of doing business.

Pankirk - allways watermark design's you enter into a competition.
