| NamePros Member | Professional A4 Advertising Flyer needed for Teeth Whitening Website I run a teeth whitening website at http://www.whitersmile.com.au . I sell 22% carbamide peroxide teeth whitening gel which come in various kinds of kits. I'm after a professional advertising flyer which I plan on putting up around town - bulletin boards etc. It needs to advertise the website address and my direct email address david@whitersmile.com.au for any email enquries (because it is web based only). You need to write all the text and design the product. I think i will be getting the flyers printed through vistaprint.com so need to make sure the following before is read and understood as are for the conditions of the sale. If you are interested in this, please send me an email with any A4 flyer work you have done before and your terms of business, prices etc. Note, I will almost never agree if I have to pay upfront. I know thats how a lot of you do business, but unless you can prove that you can be trusted, I won't do it. I have been ripped off by people on here before with people taking my money and then dissapearing and people doing the most amateur crap work and not refunding any of my payment. Acceptable File Formats VistaPrint supports a variety of file formats for uploaded designs. Adobe Acrobat Document (*.pdf) (recommended) Adobe Illustrator Artwork 8.01- (*.ai) (recommended) Adobe Photoshop Image (*.psd) (recommended) Bitmap Image (*.bmp) CorelDRAW Image (*.cdr,*.clk) GIF Image (*.gif) JPEG Image (*.jpg,*.jpeg) PCX Image Document (*.pcx) PICT Image (*.pic) PNG Image (*.png) PostScript File (*.ps) Scalable Vector Graphics (*.svg,*.svgz) TARGA Image (*.tga,*.vda) Windows Enhanced Metafile (*.emf) Windows Metafile (*.wmf) Full Bleed Size 8.63" x 11.10" 219mm x 282mm 2588 x 3331 pixels Document Trim Size 8.50" x 10.98" 216mm x 279mm 2551 x 3295 pixels Resolution 300 DPI Bleed The very edges of the document are called the bleed area. To prevent an unwanted white border from showing at the edge of your document, be sure to extend any background colors or design elements all the way to the edge. Full Bleed vs. Trim Size When to create your document at the full bleed size If you are working in an illustration program (such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw) or a photo editing program (Such as Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photo-Paint), we recommend that you create your document at the full bleed size. This will prevent any white edges from showing at the borders after the final product is trimmed. When to create your document at the trim size If you are working in a layout program (such as QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign) we recommend that you create your document at the trim size and include the specified amount of bleed for your product (.137”). When you export your document as a PDF for upload, make sure to include the bleed in your output settings so that the final upload PDF document is at the full bleed size for your product. What is resolution? Resolution refers to the number of dots per inch (dpi), or the amount of detail the image has. Most documents prepared for upload should be 300 dpi at 100% of the final print size. Higher resolution means a more detailed image, and also larger file and longer upload time. Just looking around. Heres some fliers which i like the look at. Use them for sort of an idea of what I want. http://www.japan-society.org/images/...fieldwhite.jpg Last edited by fryzie; 11-01-2007 at 05:11 PM. |
