Need three website header graphics designed

Hi All,

I am in the process of designing a new site for the Tabernacle, NJ school district. I need three website header images designed for the site:

One for the Tabernacle School District
Colors: Blue and Gold

One for the Kenneth R. Olson Middle School
Mascot: Tigers
Colors: Blue and Gold

One for the Tabernacle Elementary School
Mascot: Cubs
Colors: Blue and Gold

The banners will need to be approximately 754 x 190 pixels each.

The particular shade of blue we like is (HTML) #0C3F5C (RGB) 12, 63, 92 though the banners don't have to include this color per se as long as the colors they do include are complimentary to it since it will likely be the background color of the site and will definitely feature prominently in it somewhere.

The existing site is at http://www.tabernacle.k12.nj.us/ if you need it for ideas but allow me to stress that we do not like or want to reuse ANY of their existing images, fonts, or anything, really. We are looking for a clean, crisp, professional look.

We would like to have the images by early next week at the latest.

For the final image selected, we will need to take possession of the finished .gif or .jpg as well as the original psd files for later revision as needed.

If any designers are interested, please let me see what you've got and your price. Please WATERMARK any sample images you submit as I am not trying to steal anyone's work.

It has been suggested that I clarify what I meant by the above. Please go to http://www.tomgant.com/ and check out the blue header on that site - it's similar to what I mean by a professional look. I'm looking for something similar, basically the words "Tabernacle School District" (or school name, etc.), phone number and maybe the tiger or cub for each school as appropriate. We really like the fade effect, shading, and crisp font on the tomgant.com banner.

I may be late on replying to this thread. But, I just want you to know that we are currently having a promo on mascot illustration.

The only thing is we don't do mockup before being hired because we value our time and it is hard to recover it. That is true if you are offering a service and not a product. If you are selling a product, the customer can try the sample and return it without much loss on the seller. But, if a design artist does a mock up design and it is not approved, the time spent with the conceptualization can no longer be recovered. That is why, it is suggested that if you want a design made, look for a designer, study his/her portfolio and see if the style fits your needs. Then hire him/her. That way, you won't be wasting both your time and the designer. Well, that's a lot of things said. I hope it helps you in understanding the design industry.
