My company is seeking a skilled web designer for a contracting position. Honesty, reliability, attention to detail and efficiency are must haves.

Responsibilities

The designer should be able to:

* Create visually rich user interfaces in Photoshop/ Fireworks
* Hand Code standards compliant HTML/XHTML/CSS

* Create both blogs and business websites using Wordpress
* Test all designs for cross-browser compatibility issues
* Juggle multiple projects & deadlines
* Send daily project updates
* Work in online collaboration environment (Basecamp & Active Collab)

Education

No formal education is required, but 2-3 years of experience working with the required technologies is necessary.

Availability

Must be able to complete all projects in a timely manner.

Compensation

The compensation structure will be fair and will be negotiated on a per project basis.

References

Strong website portfolio is a must, along with a few client references.
