Wanted: Graphics for "GEEK"

I am planning to start developing my site, thegeek.org, and would like to have some graphics for it. As I am thinking of setting up first and foremost a forum, a graphic which is not too large, nor too small, and suitable for, say, vBulletin or phpBB, would be great (that was a very complex sentence!).

Some modest banners (moving images? flash?) of different shapes and sizes, or logos, or other creative graphics would be nice. Better yet if they are all of a same theme. I definitely want a character too, not just banners saying "the GEEK" in bold letters. Whether the character is serious, or cute (like Tippy's!), I leave it to the artist to decide.

Payment: minimum NP$100, up to NP$500 for a more complex work/portfolio. For excellent work, I would offer one, or even two, Enom registrations.

I do not have a specific requirement in mind, but maybe it would be fun to have something "cute" while "geeky" at the same time. A colourful character would do the trick. Best yet, I could have several versions of the character in different outfits (Christmas Santa Claus outfit, Easter bunny ears, Chinese New Year red dresses, St Patrick's day clover leaf designs, etc). I leave it all up to your wildest imagination. Repeat: I want an anchoring character, not just a banner with words.

In short, I would like one anchoring geekish cartoon character, which will appear (1) in several banners/logos of different shapes, dimentions and colors, and (2) in different costumes representative of festive seasons and nationalities.

To clarify further, I am not just wanting a character, I want you to create the banners/logos too with that character.

As extra payment for a great job done, I will not hesitate to provide advertising space for a month of two.

We could start off by first agreeing on one character, then deciding on the pricing for the other components of the portfolio, before going further. Please PM for further clarification.
