Best free HTML editor

here are some free ones that seem good. http://www.evrsoft.com/
i dont use either though. i use editplus which cost a couple dollars, its a basic text editor but it also is made for html editing.

yeah but they dont only use it. People just think it sounds intelligent when they say its the only thing they use.

You dont know what youre talking about, notepad is the best, editplus and others are for people that dont know how to code, or else.

Best free WYSIWYG HTML editor I know of is NVU. Though it messes up my code sometimes, which can be annoying.

I have a portable version on my USB Memory Stick just incase I need to do some quick modifications when i'm not at home or whatever

I used to use Evrsoft's 1st Page 2000. It worked absolutely brilliantly and taught me how to code.

Just to jump into the arguement, I use notepad also and I agree, it is a brilliant piece of kit! NOTEPAD ALL THE WAY!!!
