basic script needed

Hi all

Hoping one of you Web gurus would be able to make me a simple script.. All i need is a rough price at this stage.. very basic.

The script id for a standard webpage, needs the following features.

News posting area (basic news, ) just have Date etc, maybe be able to add a small image relevent to news article.

Poll : nice and simple

Photogallery, Nothing special here just needs to be able to have categories.

Bio section - Section about diff staff members, maybe acn be broken into sub categories, Management, employees, contractors, etc

And an events area.. up and coming Events yadda yadda

The script does not need any image work or anything like that. i have a current design id like to work with.. so i guess the other requirment is that it can easily be plugged into a design.. say via includes or whatever.

Anyway pm or leave a response here on what you would be able to do it for.

I'd be willing to set something like this up for about $200. I doubt I can go much lower then that for the programming, testing, and implementation time it will take.

I run my site (www.epasture.com) completely on mySQL/PHP and have edited the Poll Script to customize it to the size I needed on this site.

Id just like to say this guy rips you off, we entered a deal where i pay half straight up and half at the completion.

He created something that didnt meet most of my requirments, and actually generated many php errors, He expected me to deal with it. Upon advising him thats not how you do business he said he would get it fixed up, . Since then i have heard nothing and Emails / messages go unanswered.

(been over a month since last contact) i have lodged a paypal complaint(nothing can be done)

Just a word of advised i suggest stay away

I believe the address was Globex hosting i made the payment to..

dude if you want to get in contact with me to fix this up go right ahead.. until then Ill remain telling people of my experience

If this thing about MetalicDesigns is true, please consider alerting one of the MODs for the safety and well-being of the NP community.

they cant do anything because their isnt really proff that he has done anything. if someone can get good proof then we can sue this .......

It is sad that people like that are still able to stay on the boards. Its guys like that, that make it hard on others to make a living online.

But back to opticempire. My Suggeston is try one of the free GPL content scripts like Mambo4.5 or PHP nuke.

We have used both and LOVE mambo and these scripts have all features that you need.
