         | War in middle east- prompting me to develop! Hi! I have owned the domain war.sc for a little while now and have long pondered its potential were it to be developed. The keyword is one of the most searched on the internet (ovt 244079 war) I am looking for ideas as to how i could best develop this domain, I am thinking as a news site, and I am looking for offers from experienced talented web-designers and coders. My budget is a rather meagre $250, and i warn everyone that I have high hopes here so please don't be offended if I don't accept your proposal, although what i would most like to do is share revenue for a period of time with the developer, as i believe this is the best incentive to perform a good job. The following are ideas I have come up with, although I am happy to change this completely if somebody has a winning, revenue generating idea!: 1. News feeds on war-related topics from major sites updated daily. 2. Easily add manual links to 'one-off' stories from smaller news sites (so if a really useful article is found it can be offered to site visitors) 3. Editorial, for daily updates added by moderators 4. A forum perhaps for members to discuss the war- this could be a major part of the site if it was to be uncensored, allowing a free exchange of opinion/media on what is normally a heavily censored issue. 5. Sub-domains perhaps for different areas of conflict (i.e. middleeast.war.sc) 6. Different aid projects and charities working in areas of conflict could have their own sections If anybody is interested in this project at all, have a think about it and let me know. |
