Question. Need Help, but don't know from who.

I am in need or some serious development. (i.e. backend, etc.)

Keep in mind that although I am very familar with the domain industry, when it comes to building websites I have almost zero experience. I only say this because sometimes individuals ask me what I exactly want built and I can't tell them, but I can describe it. Basically, I can explain precisely what I want in English, but when it comes to describing the project in "computer language" I am clueless. Does that make sense?

The question I have is what is the best way to find a developer? I have posted requests on here before and have gotten some responses, but besides a link showing a portfolio (which could be anyone's) I do not now how to choose a developer.

Anyway, I looking for the development of a high end site. All I have to do is like your work once and you will receive plenty of work from me throughout the year. Seriously. I am just looking for someone that can do the project and is reliable and trustworthy.

Please feel free to e-mail me at mtomich@gmail.com and I would be happy to discuss.

Thanks.

Try Scriptlance.com. We have had good luck finding programmers / developers there. They have a community where once work is done, feedback about the work is left so you're not wondering how good or bad they are.

You just put a brief description of what you need and then the developers bid on the work. You pick the one you would like to work with and you deposit money into an escrow account where it stays until you are satisfied with the work.

We have been very happy with the work.
