When I do it, it looks like CR**!

Hello,
I have been trying to convert this jpg to a gif and when I do it looks like YUCK...... The reason I need it in a gif is that a lot of banner exchange and stuff require it, so...
Can you do it?

Is that the original jpg?
It doesn't look very clear to begin with.

Opened in PS and saved for web as a full resolution .gif.
