Whole site needs upgraded - Start with logo $30

I have decided it is time for me to upgrade my website. I am not sure if I can hold a competition for the redesign of the whole site or not so I will start with the logo!

My site is called www.supermums.co.uk and is used to drive people towards a nanny agency. I decided a while ago to give the business a “cartoony” feel with a friendly and colourful atmosphere. You can use any image found on the website and incorperate it in to the logo and the font I had in mind and used originally (Which does not work on the website) was a font called “Girls are weird” which can be downloaded from the following link:

With regards to the font I used the first “u” in Super coloured pastel pink and the first “u” in Mums coloured in pastel blue.

Please note that the images suggested and the old font are just to give you some ideas of where I was going, Please use your iagination and get creative!

I will give feedback on any logos posted and I hope we will have some fun here!

If I am allowed to run a competition to totally redesign the website please let me know – or if you are interested in taking the job on please get in touch.

Thanks for starting us off teddy7 I think I like the 2nd and 3rd ones best. The other two had the "SM" a little large I think. I like the way you are playing with the pictures and the font, you really are using your imagination well.

True_Snake I really like the fact that you picked out the main character of the original image and have used it as the focus of the logo. I'm not sure about the font though... Maybe needs a little work but I look forward to seeing what else you can come up with

Greatdomainz, Good three attempts. I like the third one as the font seems more fun! Anothe good entry.

Trouble, thanks for your entry that you sent me by PM. I like it but think it is a little too busy with too much going on. A lot of good ideas in a small space but I like your thoughts!

Thanks for the four entries. I am not sure about the background in the first two logos or the font in the last three but I like the incorporation of the image from the website in the last two. I think with some tweaking you might manage an amazing entry.

Really like this one. Light pastel colours yet quite a bold look. Not sure about the safety pins but all in all - a strong entry.

I like these four too. Centring the logo with the text around looks quite good but I'm not convinced about the first font - and the second font looks bolder than before and I'm not so keen. 3 and 4 are similar and difficult to compare but I like the red and the pink. Thanks again.

I will make the closing date next Monday (11th July). I will make amendments to my first post to confirm this. Keep the entries coming!

You can take the link and put it between two image tags. So it'll look like this:

Artimesia, I really like the logo that you sent me via PM. It looks really good in the context of the website that you submitted it with. Not 100% sure about the font - but excellent entry. Feel free to try to improve it.

greatdomainz, I think that the ideas are simple, but effective. I think that it might be worthwhile trying to plat around with the graphc to make the logo stand out a little, but then again I might be over complicating what are solid entries.

Sammyloski, I prefer this entry to your first - thanks for getting rid of the saftey pins! I'm not a fan of the tag line under the "Super Mums" but I do like it. It may have to be "rebalanced" if you remove the tag line and it may need a little help to stand out a little more but as I mentioned to greatdomainz I might be over complicating matters.

Teddy7, I have really gone off the font that you are using. I think you might have to have a bit of a re-think. Have a look at the comments I have made to others and I'm sure that you can come up with a really strong entry. Good Luck!

I might post my top 3 logos that you have submitted in the next few days so you kow where you stand but I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. Let me know if you want me to and if I have enough support then I shall.
