200$NP + $10 Face Talking Graphic Contest

Hey guys, although I am a web designer, I am not the best artist. So, I need a graphic of a face talking (just the face/neck/hands [when I say hands, you'll see what I mean below]). It must fit fit the following criteria:

- I want the hands to be visible, like in the image located at http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/TBZ/TBZ147/bno1x018.jpg. I pretty much want it very similar to this but a lot more realistic/human-like. Also, obviously the entire face, specifically the mouth, must be visible so you are able to see that he is talking.

- fits on top of the line in the image that is listed below*
- uses same red, blue, grey color scheme
- easily able to see that the person is talking

Please just copy the Win50 image above and edit that accordingly so I am able to clearly see what the final product will look like.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Remember, I only need a graphic, not a full logo. The contest ends June 30th (5 days from the start). I will be making my decision on July 1st, so all submissions made after June 30th will not be accepted. Also, I reserve the right to not choose a winner.

snareklutz, that's not bad. The hands need a little bit of work though, make them more realistic looking and with that many straight lines. Also, please make it smaller, the exact image size that I have above.

I removed the teeth, I think he looks more handsome without it, though I'll put it back on if you want. I redid the hands, and used a grey outline instead of black, so that it fits in with the face.

Hmm.. there is something about the hands/fingers that I just do not like. The rest is pretty good though. Also, why is the quality of the originial part so poor? like the "Start Talking, End Winning" and even some of the Win50.com

I don't want to sound mean or interupting, but I think the fingers are too long. Also, the tips of the fingers are thicker than the base of them. Just a few pointers to help you fix it up.

female, male? a baby? I was gonna use a lil kid but what do you want an adult?

Revisions: The neck is now behind the text. The quality of the original text is poor because illustrator doesn't handle bitmaps as well as vectors, thats why I asked for the vector of the original through PM earlier on. The fingers are now less stubby. In version 4, the guy has a shirt.

snareklutz, i like #4 the best of all the ones that you showed me so far. However, there is still something about those fingers that I do not like lol. Try making them more realistic looking, and bent a little nicer.

Here's version 5, should I add fingernails as well? I really do hope I win this one...I spent over 2 hours on this. Most designers would ask for $20-40 on a job like this one.

Yes add fingernails, but don't color them

. About the time you spent on it, I really appreciate it and you may indeed win but I will select the best entry that I see. Let the best one win. Finally, what if you just deleted the hands all together? I know I said I wanted them but just delete them and show me a version with that (as well as one with fingernails).

The fingernails really do make the fingers look more 3d.

The first one has the fingernails coloured, just so that you can compare:

The 2nd one has the nails colourless:

The last doesn't have the hands at all. I can make the shoulders more round if you want me to:

Prior designs, what about his other ear though? It looks as if you did that maybe on purpose because of the angle of his head, but try putting the full ear on and I'll take a look.
