please review my yokohama site

im particularly concerned with the nav bar
actually i like the simplicity but i have to add and change the options
im thinking of making the top nav fatter nd adding a search bar
or..do you think its ok to have the search on another page?

any advice on installing a search function

the photo albums will all be change to suit the feel of the site eventually...after ive completed the top nav and decided as much as possible on the site structure

the two latest albums in whats new are examples of the style theyll be in

It's simple. Simple is good most of the time. One thing though, the titles, please capitalize them. I can't stand to see a decent site go down due to grammatical errors.

Not to sure of the BG color, navigation color and the font color in the navigation ~ it's to dark compared to the rest of the site. The layout's nice and the work done is great, but I think you should choose some more (fitting and) brighter colors where I mentioned

well werent really gramatical errors...a style choice but i see your points

well i chose that color because i wanted to provide a contrast but i see you point and ill try to find another color combi that im happy with

well, ive finally finished the header and new nav, im going to use a better quality skyline below, back to photoshop
ive decided to keep the color scheme as i got more thumbs up than down (sorry petter)

any comments on the changes or on anything for that matter

Its a nice simple site, which is easy on the eyes and gets the job done. It could use a little work on the navigation i guess and just sharpening up a bit but on the whole its a nice site. I really like the image of the city at the bottom of the page also, its a nice touch.

i think you should take the stoke pt to 1 also the logo dont compliment the design- remove the shadow, down below the city image will look pleasing if it was feathered not outlined, Remember you have to establish a font size scheme as well as an eye please scheme before you start any web design. Make you bg color alittle darker shade than your foreground , of the same color . This is color compliment.One thing i thing all web designers should have is a color wheel or swatch(notice how Macromedia makes their color swatch)get this from any art store. Remember also Fonts have categories as well . See if your site is an elegant site , then use elegant letter or script style. If sleek design is what yourelooking for, then use med to bold style lettering.

the logo is not really a logo, i will design something when i get the time...well youve seen it , you know what i mean

i chose that font because its easy to read, as for the colour scheme you are the second to make that comment but so far ive had more approvals...when i have time ill experiment though

all comments are sincerely appreciated though

I like the layout and colours. The only thing I do not like is the nav bar and the white border around everything. Get rid of the border or change it to a blue that matches. Also make the text in the nav bar stand out a little more by at least making it bigger or bolder.

Good work so far.
