Nice template. The colors match it real well. In fact it all fits together. Keep us updated on the status of it.

Looks nice but I would like to see it as a real web page and not just a screen capture.

If that was a screen capture then it is a damn good one. It looks more like a template ready to be cut up to me.

i like it very much. layout, use of the photo, design in general is great.

one thing though - you might want to make a little more of the navigation - its not too obvious. maybe making some buttons would look nicer?
what font is that?

good work!

thanks, it's just a jpeg of my photoshop treatment of the site. i'll be finishing it off in flash soon. i've been trying to figure out what to do for the navigation also... i can't seem to come up with anything that fits the rest of the design better than what i have though. any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

the font for the navigation is verdana, the title is zapfino

zapfino is very nice indeed.

as for the menu - perhaps images like a menu for the "menu" button... clever that ... with mouse over text saying "menu" to make it clearer.

on second inspection, i'm not too keen on the texture you have used in the header and contents outline... maybe just a block colour or gradient would look nicer?

content added

i've added most of the content, the menu page is finished, however each individual menu section will eventually be revamped a bit in the near future. the calendar page is not finished, i'm still trying to figure out an easy way to add an interactive calendar.

any comments are appreciated.

hello again,

well, its looking cool. but im not 100% sure it needs to be in flash. maybe i'm wrong, but there isnt a lot there that merits using flash. especially the pop-up menus. perhaps keeping them inside the main page would be better?

nice layout though

i decided to do it in flash so the client could edit only the .txt file for the dynamic text to do updates. from a design standpoint it definitely doesn't need to be in flash though. the menu pages are pop up pages because there was so much content for each section that i wanted to use a larger windo without compromising the look of the main layout. Also, the menu is dynamic text so that the owner can update the constantly changing beer list and food menu etc.

thanks for the comments!

I'll be adding meta tags to the html document as well as working up a non flash version of the site as well.

Doesn't matter if you add meta tags since search engines cant read the text on your site.

I like it the design.... It is Crisp and Clean

But as an Ex-Restaurant consultant I have to tell you the site is NOT selling the F&B properly! Look into Marketing restaurants a bit and redesign around tantalizing the visitor with the FOOD and ATMOSPHERE.... if you need help hit me up and I will help you
