![]() | Review appreciated Hi, I've been asked to redesign my company's website (currently here: http://www.modefashion.co.uk ). I'd appreciate any feedback on the new design, negative or positive, but preferably constructive! Please understand it's not live so many links will not work, and content may appear on the wrong pages. The new design is here: http://www.modefashion.co.uk/mode Thanks |

![]() | MUCH better design than the original IMO. Couple things that you might consider: 1) I know what you are selling has something to do with "fashion," but that's all I can figure out. The boxes on the homepage give me some clues, but still not enough. So I went to the "products" page, and it doesn't tell me either. It tells me where to buy, but not what I'm buying. Visitors should be able to find out what you're selling within 3 seconds of coming to your page. It's the internet age where everything is fast--if they have to spend more than a minute trying to figure out exactly what your product is, they'll leave and go to a competitor's site. If there are several competitors, they may only spend a few seconds before going to the next one. 2) The headers on each page (the ones that give the title of the individual pages) are huge. They're cool, but they take quite a while to load even for me, and I'm using cable. I'd try saving them at a higher compression so that they'll load faster. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/94343-review-appreciated.html 3) The site is built for 1024x768, so anybody with an 800x600 resolution will have to scroll horizontally, somewhat of a setback for them. 4) You might want to try styling the sub menu and the news menu to match a little more so they don't just look like a standard table, but that's just my opinion. Overall, very cool design!

![]() | I like it a lot better than the original live site. But the image indexbanner.png takes a long time to load with my T1 connection. =/ maybe break the image apart into smaller chunks to help it load faster? |

![]() | Thanks for the feedback. Some more work has been done, so any further feedback would be appreciated. URL is: http://modefashion.co.uk/test Comparison with the old site (http://www.modefashion.co.uk) would be appreciated, too. Thanks |
