Very very nice, but I still suggest changing the color of text. It's hard to read actually.

That's amazing, love the effect. But yes, the text should be another colour!

Love the graphics on your site. Very nice!

I agree - the text is a little hard to read so you should focus on that.

Good luck.

This is definetly different than most sites you find out there. From a design standpoint, its a great concept. From an execution and pratical standpoint, it needs a little work.

Lets start with the site dimensions. The site itself is an awkward size. Width wise, it is perfect. Vertically, however, its a little strange. The scroll bar should be eliminated, especially since there really isnt any vital content below what is shown, save a few links. My screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and the scroll bar kills the front page. I suggest taking a little off the top of the header image to shorten it up.

The menu doesn't hit me well. Once I noticed the repeating image behind the menu, it immediately gave me a poor impression of the site. It needs to be more seamless. I would also suggest changing the mouse over color to something different.

Sorry for the novel. Just a few little changes will make this site a lot better.

Thanks for the great comments!

Yeah, it looks especially bad on a 1280x1024 resolution....

About all the text comments, I may fix that, I'll have to see if I can find a better color that both looks good and is more readable.

Nice design =) Great pictures. The text is tough to read. I'm not sure how well the site fits for webdesign promotion though. It may be too aesthetic to be taken seriously. Though I think it is beautiful!

it is a great shame about the scroll bar and the repeating river bank image. fix those and the site will be fantastic!
