well ive been working on a new design.

please help ! its damn ugly at this point. what ideas do you have ? the news post are terrible. what do you think a good way to position and size everything would be ? thanks !

Not a massive fan very simple and not great colors ~ Needs work on the logo and on the colors IMHO

i agree with petter. its a very simple design. but i happen to disagree with the part on the colours. i think orange and blue is unique and bold.

um YEAH. i know it sucks.. thats why i was asking for ideas to make it better. not for people to tell me its a "low level template".

Hey,

It doesn't suck at all. You just need to work a little harder on improving it. You can start with your logo and header and work your way down from there.

At first glance it is not apparent what your site is about. Add images, text that explains what the site is about or you will find people will not spend time at your site.

The layout itself is good, but like most of the other comments, there just isn't any main focal point or anything that makes it special. It just... bland. Keep at it though.

It's not ugly. But I don't really get what is going on in the center of the page. It seems non-descript. Is this site directed at an audience who would understand it? There should be something that tells what the site is about. Besides the DJ logo I really can't tell. The blue and orange are not that bad; there are definitely worse color combimnations I've seen on sites. The color is pretty subjective, along with images, etc. Don't put images on for sake of images. You only need to put elements on that are aligned with what you are trying to communicate. Look at your site from the viewpoint of the end user. That will help you a bunch. =)

Look mate,

1. Work on the banner.
2. Organize that login box in left, too much space.
3. Try to add more content in center and organize font type, colors.

See how it looks after then.
