Looks ok, I've never been a huge fan of flash, but its ok. One suggestion i do have though, is to lose the music. I am sure others will agree with me on this one, but the first thing i usually do when i go to a site with music is close it right away.

Regards
Brian

Don't auto run the music.
I always run my own music will surfing the net it's annoying me.
I like to listen to my own music.
Also don't use the bevel and emboss effect is a very unprofessional looking style effect.

Thanks for the feedback everybody.

It seems the main problem with my site is the color scheme. Here is what I'm thinking about doing with it:

I'm going to modify the site so that visitors can choose between certain skins. Each skin will consist of different colours and maybe different graphics (brighter colours, darker colours, etc, to suit the visitor's preferences).

This is going to take a lot of work and will probably increase the loading time of the site considering the software I'm using, but I think it's worth the effort.

What do you guys think about this idea? should I do it?

I forget the name of them but you can use a special type of font that looks clean in a flash file. Try doing some research on Google for it. Good ideas just a tad sloppy.

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Please visit my site again www.ChanMatthewChan.com

I updated it. This time, you can choose which color scheme you want to view the site in. I think what I did is pretty neat.

What do you think about the changes I made? how is the loading time?

Thanks again everyone.

to gain more client you might wan tto think about just making the header as a flash movie speacking from experience client s want to see your potetial but more on other clients sites becasue it takes a while to load and lots of sites that are full flash look very unprofessional.

I like the flash, but I hate to scroll (you have to scroll down on both the LATEST/FEATURED projects). You do have some nice work in your portfolio

Its a nice design but it dosent give me the impression of proffesional image, i think its because youve used like big bold black text, and lined everything with black borders, thou techniclally its very good

not very good in my opinion. Needs to be more proffesiaonl and sleek if you want to get buissness, its a bit big and clumsy at the minute if you get my meaning.
