barryfearns,

Very nice design, one thing i think you should do is loose the bevel on the logo it dosent suit the corperate feel you have.

Also the "web" on the main image doesnt stick out to well maybe try lighting it a bit.

I can understand what you mean by it missing something the layout and colors look great but it needs something to make it visualy stronger.

The only thing i can think of is to perhaps make the header stand out more perhaps its a little to de-saturated, add some more contrast to it.

Hope this helps

not sure how far you are on it, but please implement a java script or soem other kind of error checking for the login, or more descriptive login error on that page reload. I don't like seeing 'problem with login' but thats really all my own opinion, not necessary.

cool thanks for looking everyone. I'm pretty pleased with the feedback.

Mike - I need a more descriptive error? At the moment it says 'problem with login'. You're right it might not be detailed enough but one thing you should keep in mind is security. The more descriptive it is, the more vunerable it is. i.e. if i say 'password does not match' then they know the username is correct... and so on.

Maybe i could just have 'Username and password combination not recognised' or something like that... any thoughts?
