![]() | Please review my forum aslowclock.com Its a forum site using Phorum.org software. I was considering making all the icons black and white but I'm not sure yet. I'm also thinking flat icons might look better? What do you guys think? Thanks! http://www.aslowclock.com Edit: I'm making some changes based on comments elsewhere. I left the above in case someone has pointers still lol + I can't find the delete button.

![]() | Hey thanks, I just updated the layout so I'm not sure what your opinion would be now. I'm sure the same suggestion holds true though lol. The "title" tag works in SEO no? Perhaps that is how I aught to extend it... or do you also mean the title for each page too? Thanks!

![]() | I think a theme which is slightly more colorful could make the site a little bit more attractive for the visitors. You can also try to place ads on the right and left hand side which could give a more complete whole site feeling. Best of luck with the site. |

![]() | Thanks guys.. I was working on the header still actually. I like simple but a splash of color doesn't hurt. Oranges and such tend to jump out pretty well.. so I'm looking there atm. Thanks for the tip dojo.. I was actually reading a ton Admin Zone (they are geared towards forums) and topics seem to be kinda important LOL. To be honest, I think I put the forums up to soon. I want to implement some features that aren't stock on the board.. and features I can't seem to find anywhere else (which makes me a bit nervous)... But now that the boards up.. it looks like I'll have to just slowly work out any additions and changes while getting some posting done. I'm going to stick to the forum for the long run.. so I don't want to over-work it right away. I've read about to many forums going "bust" from folks tiring out from not getting enough interested. Anyway, thanks for the feedback ya'll! PS: Do you guys think ads help get people interested? I mean, I personally don't pay much attention to them anymore.. but I have to wonder with all the commercialism in today's world if its almost an expected part of any site, new or not.
