This is a nice site. A few comments and suggestion though. Firstly the logo appears to be half missing (it may just be this pc though). There is possibly a bit too much white space for my liking, maybe if you integrated the header colours into the main body of your design a bit more? The navigation is great, and I like the menus down the left hand side on the other pages. Maybe if you had a menu of similar nature on the homepage, it would draw a users attention from the white space? The site is still very nice, and my suggestions are only minor nit-picking faults, but I always like to give a little bit of feedback.

Keep up the good work , Adam

thanks for your great comments, the logo is meant to be cut in half but will have a little think on this since all of you mentioned the same thing.

Thanxs for your comments greatly appreciated always good to hear what otheres think rather than what you think yourself..

Having half of the logo makes it look like some kind of bad coding error. I think its best to have all of it. The rest of the side looks very nice. Good job.

half cut logo has gone due to so many people commenting on it being a loading error plus got rid of yin and yang bit too confusing when our branding should be the most important element.

thanxs for all your comments, appreciated

review of twistmedia.com

i like your site. it's a nice site.

i say that to give a disclaimer, because the review i have of your site is very hard. i think your designs show that you are a talented designer and that you have much potential. however, since you are talented, i feel there are some areas of improvement in your site. I'm kinda new at reviewing so hopefully this is interpreted as clear and honest.

* HEADER
I like the boldness of the contrast of the yellow and the blue. especially the yellow on top with the logo. it's a modern and clean look. the white on the logo is kinda hard to pick up. i know you are going for a clean and corporate look, but the white at that size is difficult to read at the same clarity as the black against the yellow. Maybe you could try an outline or a play on saturation or a slight gradient.

The section with the slogan, 'Innovation is balance' is nice. however, there are other sites (roomates.com) that have headers that are pulled randomly from a database. maybe this would be a good idea here. Maybe you could color coordinate the slogan background depending on the section of the site. or randomly generate a different slogan when a user pulls up different pages.

* Navigation
I like the style of the navigation, but something stuck out to me. One was the lack of the use of a 'Home' link. I know the 'Start Here' is supposed to function as the 'Home' link and it's fine that you used 'Start Here', it's that the use of start here is a sign that there is a sequence that the pages are to be viewed.

Also, the change in background during the status change isn't very clear. the removal of the border isn't as effective as maybe adding some contrast or change in color along with the underline to the text link.

* Layout
I think I can see that you used the break (line) as a way to show depth in the in the design, seperating the header from the body of the page. You might be able to create more depth by using a slight change in lightness in the header portion and raising the size of the header.

As far as the body goes, the typography is good. The spacing in between elements is uneven. (i checked it in firefox and it worked fine, but in IE the spacing isn't as even. The same spacing conflict showed up in the section navigation on the side when viewed on different browsers.)

Changing the colors of the highlight and text of the links to the same scheme as the main navigation, along with adding an underline to the links would improve consistency.

I really like what you did with the splash images for each section. the slight gradient and the big text makes for a clean look...that's nice work.

* Footer
The footer is alright, but I noticed there isn't an email link to the webmaster or a contact us link there. Also, the background doesn't extend to the width of the body in IE.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/71976-twistmedia-is-live.html

All in all I think it's a good site. A well made site, it just isn't as good as the sense of design shown in your print and logo work suggests that it might be.

If it means anything, I really like your work. You've got skills.
