Please review my travel site

Airline-Prices.com

I used wordpress 'Thesis' to create the site. It has a search engine, ads and if its not just my browser, I think I'm ranking on the 1st page of bing and yahoo for the term 'airline prices' no quotes.

Let me know what you think, give advice that you believe may help or anything that you believe may improve the look. I did the logo myself...amateur but I think it looks 'ok'.

Your site looks so simple. I don't see the design, it's like a scheme. I think you need to use images, to change a background, but logo is good.

It's pretty simple, but to be honest you have a good start with it. It's easy to use as well. Pretty nice reference for someone who wants to travel.

Hi you could easily make it mobile friendly with a mobile plugin - wptap has a free version for smartphones, and wpmp will do for any phone.

IMO the logo is fine, but you might want a bit more text content on the site to attract searches, and you could slightly change the background colour so it is not the default white.

Thanks everyone! I've been having a problem with getting any kind of ranking on google, so I've been adding more alt="" text for my images and banners and whatnot. Yahoo and bing don't seem to be the problem. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Another thing. Is there an easy plug in for wordpress or something I can do to make it update for language? I've noticed that I get traffic from other countrys and I don't know if my language is updating.

Google is slower and gives less weight to keywords in domain names and more weight to content. More content and more links to the site is the usual answer.

By default Wordpress is in English. You can load up the language files for another language, but it just changes the interface language.

Do NOT use the plugins that autotranslate and store content- they can violate Adsense and Google translate TOS and hurt your ranking.

not sure about the "www", it loaded fine for me.

nothing for revenue yet. The domain is old but the site has only been up for about 30 days.

Add a banner on the header. You must also add more content on your site. Give time to write articles and post it there.

too much white space in the header increase the logo size. or create a longer banner and put the site name in there.
not bad otherwise.

I've taken the site to the next level. I'm still using wordpress thesis but I've been writing articles everyday and my google traffic has increased 10 fold. I'm excited about the future of this site and now I would like it to be re-evaluated.

If anybody has any ideas for improvement, please let me know, my coding and my thesis knowledge is getting better everyday!

I've been getting quite a few requests via email for backlinking to other sites such as cheapoair, bookingwiz and more!!! Kind of exciting!
