80four.co.uk : Redesign

Hello,

I run http://www.80four.co.uk it’s an Adobe Photoshop and Webmaster resource site. Its been running for about 3 years and has lots of free content.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/69464-80four-co-uk-redesign.html

I've just updated the site to a cleaner version. Last time I'm going to do it all with notepad! I wanted the design to be very easy to navigate, so people find the content. The site is also very image light, to avoid high bandwidth (shame but the site gobbles a few gigs), but hopefully still looks stylish.

Please let me know what you think, if you find a dead link plese let me know.

Also if any of you run Google Adsense on your sites do you ever get random irrelevant adverts, like on these pages:
http://www.80four.co.uk/tutorials/crescent.html (I get sheet metal cutting?!)
http://www.80four.co.uk/tutorials/stencil.html (I get construction jobs?!)

Feel free to post a hello in the forum,
Cheers
Ian

Rowan W will become famous soon enough

It looks very bland, especially the banner with the buttons, surely you can come up with something more attractive?

Although the main thing is that it's easy to get info from the site, and you've done that quite well. In this regard it's very good and comes together nicely.

4/5

Improve the graphics (banner) and you'll get a 5/5

Thanks,

The point is I don't really want a fancy graphic at the top. The gallery and tutorials provided eye candy.

Ian.
